Our reading story this week was The Life Cycle of a Pumpkin, we learned the different stages of a pumpkin. Since it isn't time to plant pumpkin seeds we planted grass instead. We have talked about soil, roots, and other fun facts about them. Although our grass will grow very different than a pumpkin it will still be fun to see the different stages a plant goes through!
First, we filled up our cups with dirt.
Next, we added grass seeds.
Now, we have to wait and see what happens!
We hope Monday our grass has started growing!!
